The Avarca sandal, made in traditional handicraft. A combination of cowhide leather straps and a sturdy rubber sole. Menorcan farm workers have appreciated the quality since the 19th century. Ideal for the warm and dry Menorcan climate.
Castell Manufacture has been making these classic models of Avarca sandals since 1985.
The black tread sole made of recycled car tires as well as the small toe opening and the extremely durable, well visible hand seam are typical attributes and distinguishing marks of this sandal. The white sandal is made of smooth leather, the sand-coloured and blue sandals of rough leather.
Up to shoe size 41, the shoe is made of a women's last and sizes from 42 on a slightly wider men's last.
