Cave safari in a kayak

A latent insider tip for all visitors of Menorca

A kayak trip along the Menorcan coast is an excellent way to get to dreamlike and secluded places in Menorca that can only be reached by sea.
One of the most beautiful routes on a kayak is the route through the caves, which allows you to explore a variety of caves along the southern coast of the island, starting from the bay of Cala en Porter.

In the eastern part, a few metres away, there is the very first cave below the houses of the village. Next stop is the Cova d'en Xoroi. The cave was once a pirate hole, which owes its name to a Turkish pirate who settled in the cave. Put on your diving goggles and dive into the Rincón de Alt i Fondo to enjoy this lonely beauty.

You will then arrive at Losa de Pudent, the ideal place for snorkellers, but not for beginners. Right next door is the Rincón dels Enamorats, a magical place. We continue to Calescoves; on the rock walls there are numerous artificial rock caves. They are among the most important tombs of Menorca.
Continuing along the coast you will reach magnificent caves such as the Cueva de ses Atxes, Dels Suros, Cova dels Magatzems and Cova des Pardal caves (at sea level) and the Cova des Moro.

Experience this unique thrill in the caves of Menorca!
